She sang Giac mo nao voi toi (What’s dream with me) composed by Bao Chan, entertaining the audience with the mature voice.

During the final round, Linh commanded the attention of all the judges when she sang duet with famous pop singer My Linh (I believe I can fly) by R.Kelly.

She still impressed the audience and the judges by performing with her contestant Van Mai Huong Anh mai la (You are forever) by Ho Hoai Anh and Cam on tinh yeu (Grateful for Love) by Huy Tuan.

Linh is herself a "veteran", having competed in the previous Vietnam Idol and Vietnam Television's song contest

Vietnam Idol is one of the nation’s most popular television shows.

Turning amateurs into professionals, developing talent and giving everyone a chance to be a star were the missions of the original Pop Idol that first appeared in 1985 when 19

Entertainment brought it to Britain. Pop Idol, especially the most successful version of American Idol, has swept over 70 countries.

After being cancelled last year, Vietnam Idol was back and rocked the country once again July.

When it was first launched in Vietnam in 2007, with Phuong Vy as the winner, the reality show drew a lot of attention from local viewers who loved its humor and competitive edge. Its popularity grew with the second season when the number of auditionees increased from 6,000 to 13,000.

The show was such a hit because it appealed to young viewers who dreamt of becoming famous pop stars.

This year, the format changed slightly. Short video clips narrating contestants’ lives and difficulties, unlike previous seasons, were aired daily on VTV6 so the audience could feel closer to their favorite contestants.

Vietnam is a little bit slower than other Asian nations to catch Idol fever, but time is not the point. Idol competitions in Asia are really different from the West and different in each country.
