Vietnamese troupes German-French dance

The Goethe Institut will present Faces, a performance in which dancers wear masks to raise questions about modern-day society and the real faces of people which are concealed under their masks, in Hanoi on February 25th and Ho Chi Minh City two days later.
The dance was created in 2008 by the Goethe Institut Vietnam and L’Espace Hanoi, the French cultural centre.
The dance, choreographed by Frenchman Raphael Hillebrand and German Sébastien Ramirez, and performed by nine dancers from Vietnamese troupes Big Toe, Milky Way, and Sacred Crew, has been performed in Paris and Berlin.
It will take place at the Tuoi Tre theater ion the capital and Ben Thanh theater in HCMC. Free tickets will be available from February 21st at the Goethe Institut Hanoi and HCMC.
