The song “Chu ech con” (Little frog) performed in the Italian language by 8-year-old Vietnamese girl Le Nguyen Huong Tra has attracted 73,000 views on YouTube during the past three days.
The song was recorded in 2003 and published on YouTube on May 3.
Tra has captivated the audience’s hearts for crystal-clear singing voice and energetic and confident performance.
“Chu ech con” was composed by Phan Nhan in 1967, and has an Italian version titled Ma Va La.
Huong Tra performed this song in an international singing contest for children hosted by Piccolo Coro School in Bologna, Italia in 2003. She was voted by the jury board as “Good Italian-language singer”.
The song was introduced in the children music album titled Zecchino d’Oro.
