Haunted house, 3D Cars to hit screens this summer

Vietnamese horror movie Giua Hai The Gioi (Between The 2 Worlds) will be among the many blockbusters to entertain audiences this summer, with premieres on July 22.

Giua Hai The Gioi starred by local actors including Dinh Ngoc Diep, Dustin Nguyen and Thanh Tam tells the story of a young couple who moves to a haunted house.

The movie promises to breathe in a fresh gust of wind to the Vietnamese movie industry this year.

Also, many blockbusters from Hollywood will be available in Vietnam this July.

Car 2, the sequel to the 2006 film Cars from Walt Disney Pictures will bring Vietnamese audiences a funny summer through the journey of the car Light McQueen to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix.

The 3D cartoon will be a magnet to little audiences in the summer after Kungfu Panda 2 last month. 

The movie will be screened around Vietnam from July 15.

Vietnamese cinemas will also be hit by the heroic 3D movie Captain America: The First Avenge by Marvel Pictures.

Fans can enjoy Captain America: The First Avenge from July 29.

For audiences who love romantic and comedy movies, Something Borrowed, Mr. Popper’s Penguins and The Bad Teacher will make them smile.

Something Borrowed which will be screened from July 15 tells the story of Racheal, a single lawyer who falls in love with her best friend’s fiancée when they accidentally sleep together after they both get a hangover.

The movie featuring well-known Hollywood actors Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin promises to bring the most romantic moments.

Mr. Popper's Penguins which will be premiered in Vietnam on July 22 will bring laughter when the audiences see how Thomas Popper, a rich man in New York city starred by well-known comedian Jim Carrey, lives with 6 penguins suddenly appearing in his life. 

In The Bad Teacher, famous actress Cameron Diaz stars Elizabeth, a girl who loves to flirt with rich men. 

The movie will be screened on July 29.

In addition, Chinese-speaking movie “Money Saint’s hotel” featuring Nicolas Tse, Nick Cheung, Huang Yi, Choi Cheuk-Yin and Kenny Ho promises to bring kungfu to this summer from July 8.
