Cannes’s best picture to premiere in Vietnam
Tree of life, which won the top prize at the 64th Cannes International Film Festival last month, will be the first Cannes-winning film to premiere in Vietnam this August, Galaxy has announced.
Terrence Malick’s 138-minute-long film tells the story of Jack (Sean Penn) who tries to find out the origin and meaning of life and to heal childhood’s wounds.
Last year’s winner, the French movie The class was shown to local audiences through the European film week which is held annually in Vietnam.
