Vietbooks cooperates with Asian Book of Records

The Vietnam Guinness Book Centre (Vietbooks) has become the official representative of the Asia Book of Records (ABR) in Vietnam.
Under the three-year agreement, signed in Ho Chi Minh City on May 31, Vietbooks will report ABR on Vietnam ’s potential records every week.
On June 15, Vietbooks will send the first nomination of 20 Vietnamese records in the fields of religion, people and social life to ABR.
ABR, in response, will post the Vietnamese representative’s name on its official website, said Le Tran Truong An, Vietbooks Director.
The two sides plan to convene a meeting for record winners from Vietnam and Asia generally in the southern coastal city of Vung Tau in November this year.
On the occasion, Vietbooks will publish the 2012 special bloc calendar featuring Vietbooks-honoured Vietnamese record makers to celebrate its 7 th birthday and welcome the 1,000 th record winner in 2011.
