Dep Magazine to kick off new fashion series

Dep (Beauty) magazine Saturday will kick off a new annual “Eau de Fashion Runway" series besides its well-known “Dep Fashion Show” series in Ho Chi Minh City.
Titled “The Scents show”, the show will showcase 80 designs of ten young designers from the VMode Fashion Institute, who was taught by Shingo Sato from the UK-based Centre St. Martin where fashion geniuses like Alexander McQueen or John Galliano studied.
Unlike “Dep Fashion Show” that features art designs for only catwalk performances, designs of “Eau de Fashion Runway” will be more practical.
The catwalk performances, to be directed by top model Xuan Lan, will be divided into 4 main topics including Casual, Cocktail, Mix’n’Match and Glamor.
Highlights of the show will be silk scarves which follow Fall 2011’s trend.
The show, to be directed by Ryan Kn who used to worked in world’s fashion kingdoms Milan and London, will take place at Nguyen Du Sports House at 116 Nguyen Du in District 1.
