Vietnam musician writes song for quake-hit Japan
Do Hong Quan, head of the Vietnamese Musician Association, has just composed a new song named “Gui loi yeu thuong” (Send sweet words) to dedicate to Japanese victims of recent devastating natural disasters on March 11.
Local pop star Ho Quynh Huong will be chosen to perform this song.
The idea for the song came into his mind during a conversation with politician, poet, and musician Vu Mao.
Both of them have the same sympathy for sharing loss and pain with Japan.
“I was speechless with surprise when I listened to the song’s first melody and lyrics,” artist Chieu Xuan shared her feeling about her husband’s work.

Meanwhile her daughter Hong Khanh performed this song by herself as soon as he finished it.
“I cried a lot when I performed this song because I felt pity for Japanese children. My grandmother, uncles, and other relatives couldn’t help crying when hearing it,” Khanh said.

The song is expected to be filmed on March 29 with the illustration of images describing the recent catastrophic earthquakes and tsunami.
