Vietnam female stars show off ao dai at Cannes
The Cannes is not only a film-event but also a glamorous fashion venue where female artists all over the world provide photographers a chance to take countless photos about their dresses every time they strut down the red carpet.
For the Vietnamese well-known artists like Hong Anh, Thanh Hang, Anh Thu, and My Duyen, the 64th Cannes International Film Festival held in France is really a rarely chance for them to introduce the world the national costume ao dai.
And they really sparkled at their moments when they showed off their charming traditional dresses, which attracted much attention not only from the photo buffs.
Earlier, a group of Vietnamese artists including actresses Hong Anh, My Duyen, Minh Thu, Minh Hang, Lan Ngoc, Thanh Hang, and filmmakers Nguyen Thanh Van, Tran Quang Dai, and Le Cung Bac were invited to attend the 64th film-event.
Their trip is funded by Chivas Regal, a brand under France’s wine conglomerate Pernod Ricard which has been an official sponsor for Cannes for many years.
