Six Politburo members assigned to Secretariat

Newly-elected General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, on behalf of the Politburo, signed Decision No. 01-QDNS/TW on assigning six Politburo members to their respective posts in the Secretariat of the 11th Party Central Committee as follows:
- Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary
- Truong Tan Sang, Standing member of the Secretariat
- Le Hong Anh, in charge of internal affairs
- To Huy Rua, Head of the Central Organization Commission
- Ngo Van Du, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission
- Dinh The Huynh, Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education
Earlier, at the first conference of the 11th Party Central Executive Committee, four members of the Party Central Committee were elected to the Secretariat, including:
- Ngo Xuan Lich
- Truong Hoa Binh
- Ha Thi Khiet
- Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan
Accordingly, the Secretariat now comprises 10 members.
