Sri Lanka ready to facilitate Vietnam’s investment
Sri Lankan Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne Sri Lanka is willing to create all possible conditions for Vietnamese firms to invest and do business in the South Asian nation, said Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne.
The Sri Lankan people always keep in their mind Vietnam’s valuable support for them during their struggle for sovereignty defense of the island country, PM Jayaratne stressed during a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh on June 30.
The PM praised Vietnam’s socioeconomic progress during its renewal process, saying that this is a model for other countries to follow.
Ambassador Thanh informed the PM of Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and new developments in the two countries’ relations.
Vietnam is willing to increase cooperation and share experience with Sri Lanka to help it in reconstruction and socio-economic development, the diplomat affirmed.
