Vietnam has rethink on tourism slogan, logo

Vietnamese authorities have decided to jettison the national tourism logo and slogan they chose from a contest they held not long ago.
“Vietnam – a Different Orient” was deemed the winner of the contest held by the Vietnam Administration of Tourism last year, but it has since attracted criticism for failing to highlight the attractiveness and advantages of Vietnam as a destination.
The administration now plans to cooperate with the European Union and get European copywriters and marketers to create a new logo and slogan
