Two ships belonging to the Vietnam People’s Navy arrived at Cambodia’s Sihanouk City Friday.

Led by Colonel Nguyen Van Kiem, deputy chief of staff of the Vietnam People’s Navy, the trip is the navy's first official visit to the neighbouring country. It aims to improve relationships between the two countries’ navies.

During the four-day trip, the crews will meet with Cambodian high-ranking officials like Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for National Defense, and participate in friendly sports matches with Cambodian military forces.
