Two foreign men sing folk songs to ask for money from Hanoi residents who drop some cash into a crash helmet laid nearby while another group - an Italian mother and daughter - similarly dance and somersault for money, also in Hanoi.

As shown by a clip on YouTube, the two foreigners play mandolin and flute while singing excitedly to a large crowd at an area near Ho Guom (Sword) Lake.
Their performance attracted a lot of passers-by, many of whom stopped and put some money into the helmet on the ground.
A little Vietnamese girl of around 2 or 3 years old even joined in the performance.
Earlier, also in the area near Ho Guom Lake, there was another street performance by an Italian woman and her daughter, who painted their faces and made somersaults on the street.
The little Italian girl then held out a can to ask for money.
Maria Sabalini, 41, told Giadinh.net that she and her daughter had to do street performance to afford their trip in Vietnam to search for her lost sister.
